Prepare to go an adventure by making your own telescope!

Adventure Starts Here! Come to the Olney Library for an afternoon of fun making your own DIY telescope so you can go explore Montgomery County! This hands-on program will provide children with the opportunity to use their critical thinking and problem-solving skills to achieve a result.

This program is designed for children 8 years old and up. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.

Due to limited supplies, REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Register here.

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.
