Richard Bell, author of Stolen: Five Free Boys Kidnapped into Slavery and Their Astonishing Odyssey Home, will talk about the criminal network of human traffickers and slave traders who abducted thousands of free African Americans living in northern states and sold them into slavery. He tells the compelling, true story of five boys who were kidnapped in Philadelphia; enslaved in the Deep South; persevered, escaped and finally found their way back home. 

A book sale and signing will follow the presentation.
