This program will share lessons learned, strategies for opening doors, and a candid conversation on turning grit into opportunity. The session will include a discussion, audience Q&A, and reflections on how communities can build stronger pathways for the next generation. 

Mr. Cory McCray will be signing his autobiography, The Apprenticeship That Saved My Life. The book will be available at the event for purchase from Friends of the Library, Montgomery County, Inc. (FOLMC) or by visiting www.bookshop.org/shop/folmc

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.
