Event Details

Recreate a famous or iconic album cover.

During this workshop, participants will be guided through the process of recreating a famous or iconic album cover from start to finish. Open to all ages and skill levels. Materials, including blank album covers, paints, and brushes, will be provided to be used during the workshop.

No registration required. First-come first-served. Limited to 20 participants.

This event will be held in the 5th floor meeting room of the Brigadier General Charles E. McGee Library.

Vinyl Day: Just for the Record is a day dedicated to Record and DJ culture in Montgomery County. This free family-friendly music festival featuring workshops, speakers and more!

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.

Accommodation Requests

People who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing should request English-language captioning or sign-language interpretation at least five days before the library-sponsored program they plan to attend.
