Local historian Judith Welles will provide glimpses of her new photographic history of Potomac titled Images of America: Potomac. The first history of Potomac to be published in nearly a half-century, the book includes rare vintage photos from Potomac’s founding as Offutt’s Crossroads to the present, including of the Potomac Hunt, famous residents, gold mining, and the Civil War in this area.
