In celebration of Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month, join us for an author panel on Saturday, May 4, 2019, from 2 – 3:30 pm in the first floor meeting room of the Rockville Memorial Library.
Three accomplished professionals with local ties will share their perspectives on the writing process and talk about their family heritage as reflected in their respective books: Ginny Gong, From Ironing Board to Corporate Board: My Chinese Laundry Experience in America; Jennifer Lin, Shanghai Faithful: Betrayal and Forgiveness in a Chinese Christian Family; and Scott Tong, A Village With My Name: A Family History of China’s Opening to the World.
Book sale and signing will follow the panel discussion and question and answer period.
